Now for something completely different.

Our bathroom sink is right under the window and when they but new double glassing they installed a new lip around the window.  This lip took half of the tiled window ledge.

We had a mirror that rested on the tile and the window frame but the wind blew through the open window and the mirror fell.

I found this cheap mirror and thought that might work.

Not really!

Then I remembered that I have an old camera mount with a suction cup.  It was for the car, but the angle of the front windscreen is too steep so it never worked as a camera mount.

My Eureka Moment!  Maybe I can fix the new oval mirror to the camera mount then the mirror can be attached to any smooth surface!  The window or the tile will work.

So I shortened the camera thread and it just about filled into the mirror thread.

Adding a little “lock tight” to the threads should do the trick.

As you can see, the old camera mount has all sorts of adjustments available.

Now I have a mirror that will attach to any smooth surface, tile or glass, and is fully adjustable.

Done!!!
