Made from my rhubarb from the garden, as show on my last video, and some Bramley apple that were half price. I used about 10 to 12 sticks of rhubarb and 4 large apples.
So after much washing and chopping I have a big pot of fruit to stew down. I NEVER add sugar that’s up to the one that is eating it.
All the rhubarb IS under the apples.
It is a BIG pot of yummy goodness…
Two hours later… In the old days I would of made a rhubarb and apple crumble with lashings of hot custard. But these day it’s just the fruit and no sugar or sweetener.
A lot will go into zip lock bags and in the freezer.
